The service was quite professional, and breakfast was simple but okay. The breakfast area is small and gets crowded when the hotel is busy. There's no elevator or air conditioning, and the rooms are old. Some bathrooms have mold and a sewer smell.
The receptionist was really nice and helpful, and we were offered a parking space. Although our room faced a road, we didn't hear any noise. We were three adults and two children, and the room was big and warm enough. Breakfast is a must: it was an open buffet with enough choices, served between 8-10. The only issue was the single bed, which was really uncomfortable despite all the good things.
The hotel offers almost no service, and at €50 a night it felt like a bad, overpriced youth hostel. Whoever chooses to holiday here has only themselves to blame. This is by far the worst hotel I've stayed in. The old room was smaller than a storage room, the bathroom was musty, and the carpet was dirty and covered in stains. It faced a busy road, and trucks woke me around 6 a.m.
There was black mold in the shower and stains on the carpet. The room had a small, old-school TV and no air conditioning. This is the worst hotel I've ever seen in my life. For this kind of room, €20 a night feels like the most it should cost, not €50!
The room was clean, but the amenities were minimal, and I wouldn't stay here again. Staff felt unaccommodating and almost resentful. When I asked for ice, I got a blunt “No ice, sorry, sir.” After we missed breakfast, I asked for directions to the nearest coffee shop and was asked whether we had a map, then pointed vaguely down the way. I felt judged whenever we came through the entrance. In all my travels around Europe, this was easily my worst experience. There are much better places to stay.
