Dunetton Hotel Klaipeda

The hotel itself was quiet and clean, but the management felt poor for the price. Check-in was disorganized, and breakfast was forgotten one day. On our last morning, the fire alarm had a problem from 6 am until 8 am. When we called, the manager said unpleasantly that they already knew and were trying to fix it, without apologizing.

The room was a decent size and the location was really nice, but I still wouldn’t return. There was a strange smell in both the hotel and room, no daily housekeeping, and no hot water for our morning shower. We messaged about the water and got no reply. The breakfast promised in the room pamphlet wasn’t available either. Since there’s no reception desk, we were meant to receive an entry code, but it never came. We messaged several hours ahead using the number they gave us and heard nothing, so I had to call while we were standing outside locked doors. The first code they gave us was wrong too.

The rooms were clean and nice, and check-in and check-out were simple. We’d recommend staying here. One thing to fix: the bathtub silicone is almost completely black and looks very dirty.

There’s never anyone at reception. If you arrive after 10pm, you might be left outside with no code or the wrong one. The food they provide is packed like army rations, which doesn’t fit what they advertise as a 4* hotel. The spa costs extra and isn’t included in the booking. This feels like the biggest scam in Klaipeda. It’s worth 2* at most, and I don’t know who they paid for that 4* rating. I want my money back!!!
