For this price range, there are better hotels. I wouldn’t recommend this one. We were traveling with two kids under two, both still stroller-age, and had booked a family room. The hotel isn’t suitable for strollers or wheelchairs: there’s an elevator, but stairs in front of every door, though adding a ramp would be easy. We asked for a toddler bed. The one in the room was completely wrecked, including the doors and mattress, as shown in the pictures. We called reception, and a guy changed it. But the second mattress had dirt, sand, under the sheet. That made it seem like the beds weren’t cleaned between bookings. We obviously didn’t put our child in it. There wasn’t any drinking water in the room or hall, or information on whether tap water was safe. We had to risk using tap water. There was none in the coffee machine or electric kettle either. Small things, but the family room’s coffee machine had only one capsule, and the carpets gave the room a funny smell. Hotel parking wasn’t guaranteed. We didn’t get a spot and had to leave the car at the Europark parking lot, paying 10 eur per night. Breakfast was normal, nothing special.

The bathroom felt cramped, and the toilet moved around. There was also a strong smell in the room, with the windows sealed shut because of facade renovations. The location is great, though, and parking was easy.

The rooms are small, the side or back entrance smells, and the breakfast is mediocre at best. There’s no parking in the evening, and no shampoo or conditioner either. For the price, it felt like a dormitory rather than a hotel. I’d look elsewhere.

The decor was the standout for me, with vintage touches, loads of books, and a great art collection. Really well done 👏🏼 The room was spacious and very clean, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke English. Breakfast was tasty and had plenty of choices, though more kinds of fruit and some plant based milk would have been nice.
