Gradiali Anykščiai

The sauna is a long way from the villa, and our room was very cold when we arrived. We also hadn’t been told that the villa by the lake was old and looked poorly cared for.

The sauna was the best part, and the rooms were generally clean. But the walls are so thin you can hear the whole house talking. Breakfast was awful, the only pancakes left were soaked in oil, and the queue for the coffee machine was so long that I never got a cup. Clean rooms alone wouldn’t bring me back.

The meals were superb, and we had lovely views from our cozy, well-kept rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Communication was smooth from the time we booked, and they went out of their way to arrange the rooms just right. They even helped set up a surprise with flowers, which was such a nice touch. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return, and recommend the place to others.

The best thing about Gradiali Hotel in Anykščiai was how quiet it was. It felt like a real break from everyday noise, and we could relax along with the other guests. We’d booked expecting basic accommodation, so that peaceful atmosphere was a welcome surprise. Breakfast was satisfying and well prepared, with enough variety for different tastes. The traditional firewood-style sauna was basic, but it was complimentary, which we hadn’t expected. Its rustic feel and warmth made for a relaxing, authentic experience. That combination made our stay memorable. We’d recommend Gradiali to anyone looking for a quiet getaway, and would happily suggest it as a place to unwind.
