The staff are nice, and the hostel is in a good spot. But 20€ for a bunk in a room with 10 people is way too much. The beds feel super cheap and uncomfortable, and the room only keeps out the wind and rain, so it’s basically like sleeping under the sky. You also have to go downstairs to use the toilet or shower. It’s sad seeing them take money from travelers who are already poor. Honestly, it feels like a scam.

The room could get hot and stuffy on a hot day, especially with more people in it. The windows don’t open, and of the three fans, one was broken. The bed and pillow weren’t comfortable either. Showers and toilets are on a different floor, though there’s a sink in the room for brushing your teeth. At night you can hear loud music from the waterfront cafes, but it wasn’t too bad. On the plus side, the property is right by the bus station on the waterfront, with beautiful views from the window, and it was exceptionally clean, including the showers and toilets.

It’s a rundown Soviet building that badly needs repairs. I know it’s a cheap hostel and you shouldn’t expect much, but the filth is just insane. There are stains on the furniture, trash in the fridge, and spiders everywhere. At least the location is good, and parking is free.

We had to hide our stuff before going out for the day because the window in our room wouldn’t close properly. The back garden door was also left open all night, so anyone from the street could come and go. These are serious security issues the place should fix to improve its score.

There are a lot of big spiders. It’s nice to sleep there, but if you’re afraid of spiders, don’t stay.
