Palanga is the most atmospheric place in Lithuania. This spot feels like stepping into a fairy tale or an amusement park.

Right in the heart of Palanga, the house is close to the Basanavičiaus promenade, sea, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, park, forest, concert hall and famous pier. Yet it’s quiet, right beside the Ronžė river where ducks and seagulls swim. Our child loved the house, and my wife left in tears. It’s a truly unforgettable place, perfect for celebrating New Year’s. Thanks to Audrius and his wife for making it so comfortable and cozy. The home is cozy, comfortable, well designed and functional. The kitchen had everything we needed, and there was plenty of bedding, towels and other supplies, even dishwasher detergent. We expected a small fridge, but it was quite roomy. There’s a barbecue grill in the yard and private parking behind a gate. Self check-in was easy: Audrius sent detailed instructions and left the key in a special box. We paid remotely through Booking, which suited us, though paying cash was also possible. He was quick to respond on Viber and through the Booking assistant. When a customer’s car at a nearby restaurant blocked our driveway, Audrius handled it by phone and the car was gone within 10 minutes.

We got an affordable price, a spot in the enclosed yard, parking, a veranda and a shared room, all in the center but without street noise. The hosts were great. Everything felt like a hotel, with crisp white bedding, shiny furnishings, shampoos, soaps and even coffee. I recommend it.

Everything else was fine, but parking a large car was a little difficult. The three attic spaces are only suitable for people who can manage ladders easily.
