We spent three nights in a double suite with a living area and balcony. The massage spa was very nice, and the staff there were professional. The hotel was clean, with a 24-hour front desk and quite professional staff. Parking was appreciated, though the barrier system could be improved. The pool and sauna photos are very misleading: the spaces are cramped, fill up quickly and close at midday. For the money, it was a good stay.

The staff were easy to talk to and worked around our schedule, which really helped with the kids' naps. It’s a quiet spot near Palanga’s main street. Breakfast was simple but generous, and lunch was affordable though not especially elaborate. I only wish the restaurant took cards.

The breakfast was very basic, usually sausages, pasta, an omelet or pancakes. Restaurant food was okay, nothing special, and the prices seemed too high to me compared with nearby places. I wouldn’t rate this as a four-star hotel, more like three.

We arrived after booking three nights through Booking.com for May 4 to 8, 2022, but The ALKA Hotel Palanga was closed. The entrance was shut, the corridors were dirty, and it looked like repairs were underway, so we had to find somewhere else to stay. We’d tried calling several days before the trip, but nobody answered. Very disappointing. I took lots of pictures.
