Baltic Inn

We had such a good experience on our second visit to Baltic Inn in Palanga, Lithuania. Our family group of 11 stayed for a week across three rooms, and none of us had a complaint. The location worked well, with plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby. The staff were lovely and helpful throughout, even warming milk for my brother's cereal each day. They also arranged a taxi back to the airport for us at 3am. Room 402 was spacious and had all the appliances listed. It came with a very large bathroom with a big bathtub, shower, toilet, and bidet. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and there was a roomy balcony with seating and a nice view. The hotel lift made it easy to get to the upper floors. Breakfast was delicious, with a broad selection of Eastern European food that changed daily. There were lots of options for kids, and staff kept everything topped up. We'd definitely return if we're in Palanga again.

The service was the best part, with staff who were especially friendly and helpful. My single room was practical, with a balcony, and all the equipment worked perfectly. The bed was very comfortable. Some shelves in the bathroom would have been useful.

Dishonest. I booked one night, but my flight from Bangkok on Nepal Sirlines RA 402 was delayed by four hours. I emailed the hotel to explain the delay and give my estimated arrival time. When I got there around 1am, staff said there was no room. They said I could still stay if I paid USD 25, even though my booking was USD 13. I strongly advise against staying at this property.

The rooms have no soundproofing, and it's way too noisy. You can literally hear every word from other guests, plus there's lots of street noise. The place is at an intersection. Stay away and find somewhere better.
