The location was wonderful, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was cooked to order, with hot food.

For a hotel that calls itself four stars, it still has a long way to go. We came in half an hour early, and the place is quiet, near Basanavičiaus St. Our room was clean and tidy, with a TV, kettle, and fridge, and parking was free. Breakfast was fairly normal, but it’s open to non-guests too, so expect long queues. By the time you get through, there may not be much left. Hotel guests could be let in half an hour earlier. We booked lunch and waited 40 minutes, even though there were only two of us in the entire restaurant. The spa booking was awkward too: we were told Sunday at 11 am was the only available time, but when we arrived, we were the only customers. The saunas hadn’t been turned on and were cold. At least they let us stay for an hour while they warmed up. We’d booked the spa but there were no bathrobes in the room, and there weren’t any drinking glasses either, just two glasses of some sort. The TV also didn’t work, though they fixed it quickly after we called. At night, the ventilation was so loud it sounded like a fan spinning overhead, which made it hard to sleep. Service suffers when one employee has to cover reception, wait tables, and take care of everything.

The price didn’t match the quality 🤷🏻‍♀️. Breakfast was filling, but the next morning it was all the same, including yesterday’s sour cream. There were no buns left in the evening, so there weren’t any the next morning either. The elevator is odd, stopping between floors, and I don’t understand why it’s set up that way. Booking.lt says you can take it to the upper floors, but leaves out that you still have to climb half the stairs. It’s completely unsuitable for people with mobility problems. I think it was worth its stars about 10 years ago, but now it deserves only half as many.
