Floros Simfonija

Really cozy atmosphere, and the food tastes great!

We ended up asking for our money back, and they agreed without offering an apology or trying to fix anything. That left us searching for somewhere else to stay at 1 a.m. I can't recommend this place. The way they handled our problems felt indifferent, and the lack of hygiene was hard to overlook. The customer clearly didn't seem to come first. We had booked a double room with breakfast at “Floros Simfonijo” on Topolių g., Šventoji, for €90. When we arrived, a young summer hire was waiting for a “friend” to register us. We stood at reception for about 10 minutes before anyone came. The stairs had animal feces on them, trampled and still uncleaned. Maybe an animal had got in by chance, but nobody had even tried to clear it away. In the attic-style room, the lamps had cobwebs and the curtains looked as though they hadn't been washed in a long time. The shower was the worst part. Warm water ran out after two minutes, before my friend could even wash her hair. A notice said the boiler held just 50 liters and needed 40 minutes to heat more water. That's not what I'd expect from a “4-star” hotel. I politely asked the administrator if we could move rooms so I could at least shower properly. They came in with a very unpleasant attitude, spoke arrogantly, and said, “I don’t know what I want,” while claiming all the other guests were satisfied. They wouldn't change our room. This was yesterday. I know it was the rainy season and there may have been fewer guests, but that doesn't excuse the treatment we received. For €90, the stay fell far short of both the price and our expectations. It's a shame they call themselves an accommodation establishment.

We were greeted with smiles by friendly staff who were ready to help. The terrace has lovely views that make the cozy atmosphere even nicer. The food is always fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. I recommend this place!

My husband and I were really disappointed. We paid a lot, but got very little enjoyment out of the meal. The Caesar salads with shrimp and chicken were poor value and didn't taste good. The chicken was cold, dry, and bland, and my salad had gone bad. It seemed they weren't checking what was going onto the plate. The sauce wasn't anything special either, mayonnaise would've been better. We had dinner at the holy Flora Symphony, and we won't be back.
