10/10
The location is right in the heart of Palanga, with the main sights, restaurants, and beach all easy to reach on foot. Grand Baltic Dunes is a very good option for staying in the city. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and breakfast has a decent choice to get the day started. Underground parking is a big convenience, especially in the center. Good value for money, and overall a pleasant, solid stay. 👍

The spa was really relaxing, especially the jacuzzi and sauna, and I'd recommend this place to others. It's nice and worth the price, but I can't understand putting a window in the bathroom. There's just no privacy.

Who thought an inside window in the toilet was a good idea? I don't get the design, especially with privacy in mind. The breakfast could be better too, instead of serving random sausages. Also, watch out for cockroaches. I found one by my bed :)

We could hear everything during our stay in the A corpus, and loud music made it hard to sleep early. If that bothers you, this hotel probably isn't for you, or at least that part of it. Though really, it's our fault for choosing a hotel so close to Basanavičius str. The rest was okay. The sea is fairly close, and breakfast was okay too.

The spa was a lovely extra: €15 per person for two hours, with a salt steam room, sauna and jacuzzi, and a limit of 10 people at a time so it never felt too packed. The apartment was spotless and reception was very polite. It’s also only a five-minute walk to the beach and pier, right beside the Main Street cafes, bars and stalls.
