We couldn’t get into the place when we arrived. Booking had said someone would meet us at the door, but nobody was there, so we had to text the owner to get the door opened. There’s no reception, and when the Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room, our follow-up messages went unanswered. There’s no phone in the room either. I don’t know what would happen in an emergency.

The flats are lovely and new, with shops nearby. The center of Palanga isn’t far either.

The food was good, though it felt too cramped.
