The staff did try to help and were apologetic, but the place just wasn't worth the money or the stay. It was clean, but old and senseless, and I don't think it deserves to be called a hotel. We came from abroad and were so unhappy that we booked across the road for the second night. We also asked for the extra money back for the supposed better room, which had squeaky floors and indented beds. The fridge noises in that room were awful, like the basement in Home Alone. It might be an interesting glimpse of how some people spent childhood holidays in Palanga, but that's not what we came for. In our view, booking options should be limited so visitors from other countries don't have to go through this and have their time and impression of our beautiful country spoiled. We expected more from a 3 star hotel. At check-in, we were offered pricier rooms for extra cash, which is fair enough. At least our room wasn't in a smoky area. But the floor heating was on even though it felt like a sauna. The shower leaked everywhere and was full of rust, and I had to ask staff how to operate it to stop it making dying noises. Finding breakfast was a terrifying experience. We were told to turn left, then that it was the door downstairs, then assured this was the one. The small hall led to a basement that looked like a school canteen from the 80s, with school tables and chairs. Maybe that's okay, but at 75 eu a night with breakfast, you don't expect an omelette with mayo listed as scrambled egg and 3in1 coffee. Perhaps the price is high because it's near the central street, which is a bonus, but not worth the sacrifice.

The service was horrible, and they were always complaining about noise. The TV only shows Russian channels.

The receptionist was the most helpful, breakfast downstairs was delicious, and the place is close to the walking street and suitable for dogs. The room wasn't very clean, though, with lots of dust and too many spiders. Breakfast costs extra.

I came for the Sinners Burgers food truck and wasn't disappointed. The burgers are still high class, with fresh, soft, juicy meat. The chicken wings were awesome too, crispy outside but tender and juicy, and served with veggies. The food was impressive. Big applause for the hard-working Sinners Burgers team.
