The location near the beach and just minutes from the center was excellent. I also liked how extremely friendly and helpful the staff were. The hotel itself needs some renovation and interior updates, as everything showed visible wear. Breakfast was the worst part. Compared with other places I’ve stayed, I’d rate it 1 out of 5. There was hardly anything to eat: a few canned vegetables in summertime and no fresh ones, sausages that looked like the cheapest supermarket kind, and eggs scrambled until they were overcooked. The menu was the same on all four mornings. We had a discounted stay, so it was sort of fine, but at full price I’d have been crying over the money lost.

The room was good, the bed comfy, and we had a nice experience overall. We got a lot for what we paid, especially with the great sauna area and amazing breakfast and dinner. They even served us dinner on a day when they normally don’t.

We paid €145 for two nights, and breakfast was just okay: French toast, eggs, sausages, and a little salad, with no freshly baked bread. The €44 charge for the jacuzzi and sauna felt like another rip-off, as did the €10 parking fee when free street parking was only a two-minute walk away. Our one-bedroom apartment was dusty, with broken bathroom tiles and a missing, uncovered ceiling light. For this kind of hotel, I expected toiletries and a microwave, and there wasn't even a table. It doesn't feel much like a boutique hotel or a four-star place now. Maybe it was one when it opened in 2008, but I’d rate it two or three stars, and that's generous. I guess our expectations were too high.

The room was clean but quite small, and the bathroom was cramped, with a shower cabin that didn't fit properly. The kitchen corner was well equipped. It's an apartment hotel, set a bit away from the main walking street, and breakfast costs an extra €10. I wouldn't give it four stars. The high nightly price made my overall impression worse.
