We got back to our room on 14 February at 8pm and tried to order something, but couldn't. Everyone kept saying I should have been told about it, though nobody had informed me. I waited until around 9:30pm, when I finally managed to order Bolt. There was no cutlery, and when I asked for some, they refused. I had to go downstairs and make a scene before I could get a spoon to feed soup to my three-year-old. Earlier, when we arrived at 11:30pm, I'd said there would be three of us. The person at reception was very rude and said there were no spare rooms, even though I explained we didn't need one because the child would share our bed. The booking was for two, but I had a coupon and said that if I could make a reservation for three people on 2 February, they could change this one to three people too. We also weren't told that we wouldn't be able to eat dinner.

There's free parking for guests, and the location is nice, a little further from the city centre and a 20-minute walk to the beach. The spa center is nice too. The rooms, lobby, and restaurant area have been renovated nicely, and for a 5-star hotel the prices are reasonable.

I tried to get room service and was told they didn't have time, then told to call back after the restaurant had closed. The staff were rude and unhelpful. Don't stay here, spend your money on another hotel.

We wanted some time away from the kids before school started, and the hotel was just what we needed. We especially liked that the spa has a kids-free zone, though that also means there aren't many options for children, so it may suit families less well. A few details fell short of a 5-star standard: burned-out bulbs in the spa, a leaky showerhead, and a shower door that wouldn't close properly. They didn't spoil our stay, but I'd put it at 4.5 stars. Overall, it's a place I'd recommend for a relaxing break.

We had a spacious, very clean room, with a separate sleeping area for the kids. The hotel has several pool facilities, including an outdoor pool with a bar, and there are lots of spa treatments available. The restaurant food was tasty and reasonably priced, and breakfast had plenty to choose from. Staff were friendly. It's a short walk to a quiet beach away from the crowded city centre, and the hotel has parking. Definitely worth trying.
