Vila Krantas

We'd been at the sea and stopped at Vilas Krantas cafe on the way back, hoping to have lunch. It took 15 minutes just to get a menu, then another 10 after ordering. Half an hour in, we got two soups from the lunch menu and just two slices of bread for the two of us. Once we'd finished those, only two of the three main dishes arrived. The drinks came 10 minutes later, while we were finishing the main course, and the third person's pancakes, a simple dish, showed up after everyone else had eaten and wanted to leave. Our ordered water never came. I'd rate the food 3/10 and service 1/10. I'd skip eating here. We left in a bad mood, and I hope this helps someone.

Being so close to the sea is about the only good thing I can say about this cafe. The communication and service were poor, and the attitude was especially frustrating. The seasonal waitresses mixed up orders and argued when we politely pointed out that the food brought wasn't what we'd asked for. The cafe-motel guard, who may actually be the owner and likes to call himself a guard, was just as unpleasant. This visit left me ashamed that places like this exist, and ended my vacation with a lot of disappointment and bad feelings.

The place itself is nice, but the food is poor and the service awful. The owner, or whoever he is, is a jerk. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you have no self-respect.
