The accommodation was okay, but the payment situation left me speechless and angry. We said we’d pay by bank transfer and did so. The money was taken from our account, and we checked that the IBAN and BIC provided by the owner were correct. Still, the owner said the payment hadn’t arrived. Then they showed up and assumed we hadn’t paid. I’m stressing again, the money was debited from us!

We were meant to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary here, so arriving on Friday evening and finding out there was no room for us was really upsetting. We’d booked a villa a couple of weeks earlier, but there’d apparently been a mix-up. They offered us uncomfortable apartments instead. They were closer to the sea, but that wasn’t what we’d chosen, so we turned them down. Be careful booking this villa, because you might arrive and find you have nowhere to stay. It’s very sad to have a holiday spoiled like that.

There’s a shop and cafe close by, and the sea is under a kilometer away. The villa had a clean room with its own entrance, plus a refrigerator, stove, electric kettle, coffee maker, and dishes. In the yard there’s a gazebo and barbecue. Bicycles are available at no charge, including one with a child seat.

The only plus was having somewhere to leave my things while the weather was nice, so I barely had to be in the place. The rooms smelled so awful when I visited, it seemed like a hundred people had died in those beds. 😃 The shower was a disaster, the atmosphere was nothing special, and the windows were old wood. I don’t know what photos you’re putting up here. 😃
