At the last minute, our accommodation was cancelled because “someone” had called to say we weren’t coming. We were left with nowhere to stay.

We booked a room for me and my friend, but when we arrived it had already been given to people who got there before us, even though we had booked first. The woman there, whether she was the owner or an employee, didn’t apologize. She told my friend there was “a problem” and to come talk, then took him to some office and offered to make a bed there so we could sleep there instead of looking for more trouble. She promised a refund, but first took my friend’s ID for some reason. She returned only €70 of the €92 we had paid, and wouldn’t give the ID back until he cancelled the booking. After that, she brought the other €20. I don’t know what she did with the ID, but the place has been reported to the police. When I called the police, the owner or employee told me to hang up and said I was young and shouldn’t play with fire. Was that a threat? You put us in a little room with no shower or water, told us to call a phone number if we wanted to use the toilet in the basement, and then threatened me? I understand that booking systems can have mistakes, but at least apologize instead of snapping at us and making threats and sarcastic remarks. She said, “You’ll understand when you work,” “We work,” and “Where could you work?” When we told her what city we were from, she laughed and said people from that city didn’t talk to her like that. Completely unacceptable.

It’s not luxurious, but it’s solid and quiet, with no bad smell, and the hostess is great. There’s a place to leave the car, the beds are comfortable, the linens are good, and the kitchen has everything.

We were a family of six, and the hostess said the stove wasn’t working. Maybe they were trying to save electricity. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms, so at 30 degrees it was very hard to stay there. Apart from that, we liked everything.
