North Lake Hotel

I left within 24 hours of booking a three-day stay. My request to change rooms, cancel the last day, or get approval for a cancellation was refused. The manager said she couldn't do it and that Booking handled those things for them. She also said she was just following the owners' instructions. I don't believe that, and think she was passing the blame. I hope her sons and daughters leave this villa with toilet paper and towels, since guests are expected to bring their own. I told them at check-in that I work nights and sleep during the day, but they put me in a room above the bar where music played through the day. The room was too small, and the heat and music were too much. The manager was awful, like a dictator. There were strict rules, including leaving just 1/4 roll of toilet paper for three days. The air conditioner was preset to 24 degrees, and they took the remote with them, so apparently it was fine for them to leave the window half open in winter. No one told me where to park, and wherever I parked seemed to be wrong. I felt completely unwanted and like nobody cared about me. They have a few 'rules' and there's no room for people. I'd visited four places around beautiful Lake Plateliai, and this Hotel North Lake is run by a manager with a communist attitude who takes all the love out of the place.
