The accommodation was clean, but the flies and mosquitoes were a problem. There was basically nothing to do, and the lake swimming spot was awful, with very little access and dirty water full of greenery. The house had one toilet for 10 people.

The view is great, but the value for money isn't very good. I suppose that's just how it is around the lake.

We really can't recommend this place. The 10-person cabin looked pretty good outside, but inside it was old and the beds were something else. The host described the sleeping setup as 2+4+4, but in reality only the two-person cabin was decent. Ask for interior photos before booking. There are only a few on their pages, and they aren't even from the same cabin, which isn't surprising. The owners seemed to watch us from their cabin window and film us with cameras that also recorded sound. The host himself let that slip. They found fault with everything. Adults weren't allowed to play ball by the house because it might trample the grass, though children could toss it around briefly, just not “beat the ball all day,” as the owner put it. The free boats were already pretty worn out, and we were told off for not having as many people on board as possible and accused of breaking the law. Then we got scolded for swimming without life jackets, even though the owners didn't have them, or for keeping them tucked away instead of beside the boats or where the oars were stored. Dogs weren't welcome unless they were small, calm, tied up, and quiet. The owner said other vacationers complain, but he also complained about his own dog, which barked while shut inside and seemed to react both to sounds and to people staying there with pets. There was no proper swimming shore. The area around the water was overgrown, with only algae. A weekend that was meant to be a quiet, fun family get-together turned into a big disappointment. The owners showed no respect for their guests and were completely unfriendly to children and pets. It ruined the weekend for all of us.
