Our room was a good size and had a balcony. The staff and owner were helpful, and they catered well for our toddler. Breakfast is available in a bright, modern area. We were very pleased.

The central location is still calm, close to a shop, the town’s main park, and the harbor that goes to the Curonian Spit. The host was kind and helpful, and both the place and our room were clean and attractive. We liked the traditional architecture and how the renovation kept the house’s individual old style. Our cozy room was nicely decorated, with an old wall fragment framed as an authentic detail. The garden gave us a soothing green view, and the breakfast area was cozy, with a handy self-catering space. A few things could be better: the water has an unpleasant smell, perhaps from the pipes or something similar. The hair dryer is pretty symbolic and takes a while to dry long hair. The balcony is a nice extra, but it could be cleaner and better equipped so guests can lounge there. Even so, it’s a great deal and a pleasant stay in a typical regional house.

The rooms are really nice, with separate toilets, and there’s a lovely backyard in a nice neighborhood. There’s no kitchen for cooking your own food, though. The upside is that the host leaves cakes, or pies, there every morning.

The bright, minimalist interior is tidy and clean, and the host was very friendly. It’s good value for money, and with a car you’re close to some spectacular landmarks. Breakfast choices are limited, so you’ll need to find something on your own.
