Windsor

We arrived to find no one at reception, no way to call for help, and no welcome or hotel staff around. The room was disappointing too: stains on the walls and floor, plus little pebbles still there after cleaning. Everything seemed worn out or broken, from the heating controls and bathroom faucet to the outlets and window clip. The shower pressure was almost nonexistent. Washing your hair would take an hour.

The pizzas are the best around, and the food is a treat. The staff are attentive and very friendly. Nothing else to complain about.

The outside of the hotel could look better, but there’s charm inside. It’s clean, with a spacious room and a large bathroom that has a small shower. Breakfast was great, the staff were really friendly, and there’s parking on site.

The place used to feel special because of the service. They remembered your preferences over the years, and you felt personally welcomed. The hotel has charm, and the rooms are good value. That was my impression last fall. Four months later, the food is served in aluminum bowls, service is irritated or missing altogether, and rooms are cleaned only every 2-3 days, including the trash and toilet. No thanks, this hotel should be different 👎
