Renovation noise went on all night during my one-night stay, so I couldn’t get any rest. It was a terrible experience. It felt like the hotel cared more about selling rooms than guests’ comfort. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We waited over 40 minutes for our food in a half-empty restaurant, while people who arrived after us were served first. When I asked the staff, they just said chicken shaslik takes that long, with no apology. Our starter never arrived either. We eventually cancelled the food and paid for drinks we hadn’t even touched. They really shouldn’t have charged us for those, but that’s how it went. It was very bad service that evening, and we went home hungry. This was an awful experience and my first and last time at this restaurant. 😕

The chicken lunch was delicious, with lots of flavour and a lovely texture. It came with peppers, tomato, herbs, and spaghetti. The other people in my party enjoyed their meals too.

We were passing through from Estonia and stayed for one unfortunate night. Check-in is done in the restaurant, where one nice, hardworking man was also waiting tables and handling the till. The room had everything we needed, including toiletries, a kettle, tea, coffee, bottled water, and towels, and the air-conditioning worked. But the hotel smelled really bad and seemed poorly cleaned. Our room was dirty, with insects in it. The bathroom was outdated and had more insects, plus leftover hair in the shower, on the bassinet, and on the floor. It smelled of urine, and a huge insect on the ceiling above the beds terrified us. The restaurant was pleasant, with decent food at a decent price and large portions. Still, what arrived wasn’t quite what we’d ordered. The chicken risotto, for example, was more like fried rice with whatever they had in the kitchen. We got an email saying there’d be a wedding party and apologizing for the noise. It said the music would stop at 10 pm, and it did, but then staff started dragging tables and chairs and clinking dishes and glasses until midnight. The same loud cleaning seemed to carry on early the next morning. After the room cleanliness put us off, we couldn’t bring ourselves to have breakfast there, so we left.
