The hosts are welcoming, and the rural setting feels like heaven. It has everything needed for a fantastic vacation, with easy access to plenty of places to explore by car, bike, or on foot: Rundāle Castle and Garden, Bauska Castle, Mazmežotne Manor, Mežotne Castle, the castle mound and church, Plūdoņa Museum with Zaķīši Bathhouse, and Miķelis with its retro car and country homestead setting. The three nearby rivers, Mūsa, Mēmele, and Lielupe, are there for water activities too.
