The hosts were so welcoming, friendly, polite, and helpful, and you can tell they put a lot into making guests feel comfortable. It's a brilliant place if you want to cater for yourself, with a lovely garden area outside. The hot tub and sauna cost extra, but they're nice too. One of the best places to stay in Cesis, in my opinion!

We visited in winter and the cottage felt so cosy. Everything we needed was there, and the fireplace was lovely. The owner kept bringing more wood so we wouldn't run out. The sauna was a real treat too. From the cosy living and kitchen area, we could watch the snow outside through all that glass. There were blinds and curtains for privacy.
