Maxima appartments

There are lots of products in one place, and the store uses an automatic payment system like many others. For easier shopping you need a Maxima card, and if you don’t bring a shopping bag, you’ll have to pay for one.

It’s easy to get around the store, and there’s a good selection of fresh produce and baked goods, including cakes. You can also pick up local souvenirs here.

This shop has the best hair oil I’ve ever used, and it’s cheap here. The help was really good too!

The fresh food is a strong point here. Fruit, vegetables, meat, and dairy are replenished often, and the shelves are usually well stocked, though popular items can run out at busy times. The range covers everyday groceries as well as more specialised things, so I can find most of what I need. It’s also easy to find your way around the organised aisles, and checkout usually moves along at a reasonable pace. Staff are generally helpful when you have a question or request. The downsides are occasional price or label mistakes that can cause confusion at checkout, and the crowds during peak hours. A dependable place to shop in Daugavpils, with a few small issues keeping it at four stars.
