For €600 a year, you’re told you can play whenever you want, but that hasn’t been my experience. The new sports hall prices are outrageous and feel like a scam. The man who brought in the changes gives his acquaintances priority, while my friends and I are left with the worst times whenever we manage to find a chance to meet and play.

The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and courteous, and there’s a sports complex for people who want to work out.

It’s a calm, quiet place with a very handy location for getting around town. The hotel is good for the price, though the surroundings aren’t very nice.

For a budget hotel, the price and what you get are reasonable. There’s a large swimming pool, five saunas, and a salt room. Body massage costs much less than in Riga. Towels are provided, and you can borrow a hair dryer for free at reception.

It’s clean enough for an overnight stay, but that’s about all. Hotel service is very basic, there’s no breakfast, and both the location and surroundings are poor. Even at a low price, I’ve found much better rooms elsewhere for the same money.
