The hostess really looks after her guests and shares plenty about local history and places to see. There are lots of interesting sights nearby, as well as around Daugavpils. The old Soviet-era "kolhoz" building gives the place a nostalgic feel, and the shared kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay.

We met genuinely warm, welcoming people here, and they were so keen to share their history. It made our stay an experience we won't forget. Thank you!

There are plenty of hiking and biking trails nearby, with a river and lake all around. It feels peaceful, close to nature, and there's a bonfire spot in the courtyard. The building is a renovated kolhoz (collective farm) headquarters, with a shared kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. The beds were very comfortable. Such a beautiful place for anyone who wants a quiet, relaxing break in nature.

I had a holiday here with my family, and Rubeni was such a lovely, beautiful place to relax. I'd definitely recommend it :)

We even had breakfast outside, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The hostess was helpful and told us a lot about the area's history, then showed us an interesting collection about the building's earlier days as the collective farm headquarters. The renovated rooms were lovely, and everything was spotless and orderly. I really liked it and recommend staying here!
