Breakfast was delicious, and the whole place feels calm and relaxing. Senlici HOTEL is a hidden gem in the Latvian countryside, with cozy, clean, beautifully decorated rooms that make for a peaceful retreat. The staff were so welcoming and went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. A lovely choice for a quiet escape from the city or a weekend away. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

My only real issue is the noise from other guests, even late at night. It’s literally 1:40 AM as I write this, and a man is right by my window talking loudly on his phone ☹ The rest of the place is lovely. There’s a kitchen next to my room with a fridge and everything needed to make food, plus a clean, practical private bathroom with a shower. The wallpaper is lovely, the pillowcases beautiful, and the girl at reception is so sweet, smiley, and cute.

We slept better here than anywhere else in Latvia. It’s in a beautiful spot, and every detail seemed carefully thought through. The room was cute and smelled really good. If you love cats, you’ll definitely love the house. The service was very nice, and the owner was kind and helpful. His daughter helped us with translation, so communicating with them was no problem. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone who’s unsure about staying.

You wake to birdsong here, even though the property is beside the road, so traffic barely bothers you. It has a lovely feel, with thoughtful design inside and out, places to eat outdoors, and the option to cook for yourself. There’s plenty to keep kids busy, too. The family-run character shows in the details. Even a family of storks seems to like it: one was wandering on the lawn beside the house.
