There’s parking, and it’s a convenient base for driving to Riga. Walking straight to the beach takes around 15-20 minutes, and the food square is about 10 minutes away. The location is alright. The rooms are decent, with plenty of space for a group and room for up to six people. They have toilets, showers, and fairly big balconies. Wi-Fi works pretty well throughout the hotel. Service is alright too: they check the rooms daily, replace the toilet paper, and take out the trash. From what I noticed, communicating in Russian in the lobby seems easier for them.

We visited Concordia this week but had to leave early because of the hosts’ extremely inappropriate behavior, which unfortunately spoiled our short stay in Jurmala. I don’t think it’s normal to raise your voice at guests. I’m also not sure why Booking.com won’t let us post feedback or give us an answer about what happened, and has marked our reservation as canceled even though we were there from the first day of the booking.

There’s a shower and toilet, plus shelves for clothes. The room was good for getting a full night’s sleep and resting during the day.

It’s a nice, inexpensive place that’s been renovated. The best you’ll get for that price, though there are no soft drinks in the house and it’s far from bars and restaurants.
