KATRIN apartments

It’s a pretty hotel inside and out, and the beach is only about a 5-6 minute walk away. Our apartment was neat and clean on arrival, though I didn’t see any room service during my stay. When I got back from my trip, the room was just as I’d left it. I’d recommend it 😊

I rarely leave reviews or complain, but I want future visitors to know what happened. The apartment itself matched the photos and was fine. The rest of the experience was deeply disappointing. The reception staff were often rude and impolite. The woman there on our check-in day, July 9, was pleasant, but our later interactions were very different. When we asked at checkout if we could leave our bags for a few hours, they refused. We then asked to pay to extend the stay by a few hours, an option listed on their price list, and were refused again without a clear explanation. They offered no alternatives or help, only a rude and dismissive response. The apartment was extremely dirty: the floor was filthy, the bathroom smelled awful, and there was a clump of hair in the bed. The bed was uncomfortable enough that I woke up with back pain. Train tracks about 100 meters away also made it harder to get the good sleep you expect on vacation. I strongly recommend staying away from Katrin apartments and finding somewhere else.

The place was clean and in a good location, but that bed was awful. We all woke up with back pain. Bring your own pillows too, since the ones there weren’t comfortable.

A clean, pleasant apartment, though there isn’t much room.
