Rest in the heart of Jurmala, where the beach, shops, places to eat, and entertainment are all close by, yet it’s wonderfully quiet. The apartments and rooms are spotless and cozy, and the Host has plenty of character. You won’t find a better combination. Come here for a proper break :)

The price feels right for a seasonal resort stay. It left a good impression, though you need to speak with the owner in Russian. Keep in mind it opens in May and requires a two-night minimum.

The guesthouse is clean and the rooms are furnished in a practical way, but there isn’t much beyond that. The big garden feels bare and unused, with no flowers, trees, or places to sit. Since the rooms have no balcony or terrace, it could really use some care. I’ve stayed in guesthouses that felt more thoughtfully looked after. Getting around is easy: the beach is just 100 meters away, the train station is nearby, and it’s a quiet spot for both beach time and sightseeing. The owner, though, was very abrupt. We mentioned that the guesthouse is hard to find, with no sign at the front door showing where to ring, and he answered rudely. He said to call if we needed anything.
