Pribaltdom was a peaceful, cozy spot in Jurmala, and my family had an unforgettable time there this September. The shoreline is about a five-minute walk away, the downtown area and largest supermarket are 20 minutes away, top-rated restaurants and train stations are 10 minutes away, and a great bike trail is just three minutes away. There’s plenty to do on the property, with bicycles, a well-equipped BBQ area, a well-kept Russian Sauna, a Retro style Library, a solar terrace, swings, and ample parking, among other things. The rooms are simply furnished and clean, and the kitchens have crockery and appliances. Special thanks to the host, who was friendly, helpful, and very considerate. I’d recommend the place to all kinds of guests.

The place was cozy and clean, and everything was thoughtfully maintained. The host was friendly and chatty, and could arrange bicycle rental or a grill. The sea is a five-minute walk away along a forest path. There are separate beach towels and a washer and dryer. The enclosed courtyard has swings, so the children can play without wandering off. The cheapest apartments are split over two floors, with a kitchen and toilet downstairs and a bedroom with a children’s bunk bed upstairs. There’s a stove, microwave, and fridge, but no dishwasher, which would be useful if you cook a lot. The house heats well, but there’s no air conditioning. When it’s 25-27 degrees outside, the upper floor gets hot. There are no blackout blinds either, and that floor gets morning and midday sun.
