I was exhausted, but the nice atmosphere made it easy to relax. You can eat indoors or outside, where there are swings. The servers are very nice, the food is good quality, and one plate was enough to leave me feeling full. Lots of drinks to choose from, and our food arrived quickly. The price is reasonable.

You could easily overlook this restaurant, but it serves the best fish around. I can’t remember the last time I had fish dishes this fresh and tasty. Prices are reasonable, with soups at 2-3 euros and main dishes, including fish, at 7-9 euros. There’s a playground with a sandpit and a huge trampoline for children, so it works well for families too. The owner speaks good English. I recommend it.

On our short trip to the stoney seaside in Kaltene, we stopped for coffee and tasty pancakes at this cafe in a hotel in the small town of Mērsrags. The service was quick and polite. It left a pleasant impression.

I come back every summer, and it’s perfect as always. The food, service and atmosphere are always excellent, and the staff speak perfect English. There’s seating indoors and outside under a roof, plus a playground for kids. Thank you!
