The beach is only about a five-minute walk from this seaside hotel. Each room has its own entrance, and there's a big yard where children can play while parents enjoy a drink at the nearby café. The rooms were clean, and lunch and breakfast were great.

A few rooms are upstairs, reached by narrow outdoor stairs, so ask for the ground floor if stairs are difficult or you have little kids. The rooms are beautifully designed, the beds are comfortable, and the Wi-Fi works perfectly. There's no TV. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the whole place feels relaxed and easygoing. Breakfast was delicious, and you can get good food throughout the day. The beach is a three-minute walk away.

We’re already on our third stay and will definitely come back next time we visit Pavilosta. It’s a busy, noisy place in summer, and don’t expect Hilton-style 24/7 restaurant service or soundproof rooms. Still, it’s worth every dime. For a similar price elsewhere, you might only get a place to sleep. Here there’s fantastic food, a nice atmosphere with music, a great spot for kids to play, and thoughtful little extras, like Illy coffee in the family room. To us, it’s the best value for money in Pavilosta.

The hotel is even better in person than it looks on the website. I regret not booking a stay, especially since they have a deluxe two-room suite that seems ideal for two adults and three kids, at €129 a night with breakfast in July 2018. The restaurant is really good, though it can be hard to get a table in high season. I'd suggest arriving before 7 pm.
