A handy place for a fairly low price if you’re traveling by car. The parking is large and free, the rooms are quiet, and the interior feels calm and pleasant. The staff and owner were very friendly, and there’s a fridge and ironing equipment available. Some shared areas were dusty, though, and one pillow was too big to sleep comfortably on. Check it when you arrive, since there might be nobody at reception later in the evening. I’d recommend it for a budget trip by car.

The meals were amazing, thanks to the chef! The staff were kind and respectful, and the rooms were cleaned daily. It’s in a quiet spot near a bus stop. I’ll definitely stay here again.

The food was great and varied, and the hotel was cleaned every day. The owner and his family live next door and were patient and friendly. I really liked the warm carpet throughout the comfortable second floor, and the hall and dining area downstairs are lovely too. Ramava is a quiet, pleasant area, about 20 minutes from the lively old city center. I’d love to stay again!

I was looking for a quiet neighborhood, so being well outside Riga’s center worked out well for me. It’s easy enough with a car, and there’s a big free parking area on site. I worried about the nearby main road and construction next to the hotel, but both were barely audible with the window closed. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the quality showed in details like the genuine feather quilt, Grohe bathroom taps, and effective soundproof windows. The interior sound insulation could still be better. Great value for money.
