We were planning a 10-day stay for our family of three, my husband, our 3-year-old, and me, and booked a two-room suite. We asked if the hotel could arrange a sleeping option for our child in the living room. They said no, offering only a baby cot for a three-year-old or suggesting we all share one bed. There were no other options or suggestions, and no attempt to help with the request. The room we booked was the second most expensive in the hotel, with only the unavailable presidential suite costing more. We cancelled the booking, shocked. I've never experienced client communication like this. An absolute disgrace.

The only drawback was the location beside the highway, but our room faced the other way, so we didn't hear the traffic. It was spacious, with a bit of lake visible from the window, and the food was tasty.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the food at the restaurant was nice, though pricey. The hotel is 15 minutes from Riga city and just 50 meters from the lake, but unfortunately there's no direct lake view. Breakfast could be better.

My first stay at Baltvilla was enjoyable. It's in a beautiful spot, with plenty of parking spaces and an elevator. I requested a crib and it was ready; the room was huge, so there was still lots of space. Breakfast was tasty with several options, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside for me was that the room and hallways felt a little too dark. I'd love to stay again!
