Kolonna Hotel Brigita

We waited a bit too long at both check-in and check-out. The breakfast was very good, though. We booked two rooms for our three kids, but the biggest room alone would have fit all of us. Booking.com wouldn’t let us put everyone in one room, so it may be better to book directly with the hotel.

A good budget hotel, and I really liked the big rooms with an extra couch and two chairs. Breakfast was okay. If your room faces the street, traffic and the trolleybus can be noisy late into the night.

The food was acceptable, but the rooms were cold, the bed was broken, and the mattress was really uncomfortable. There was no hot water.

I booked one night at Hotel Brigita through Booking.com for March 7. The reservation was confirmed at first, then I was told there were no rooms. I accepted that and booked somewhere else. The next day they said it had been a mistake and that I could still stay, but I’d already made another booking, so I asked them to cancel and refund this one. They gave me the director’s email, and I wrote there, but I still haven’t heard back. It feels like I’ve lost both my money and my trust in decent hotel service. If you’re prepared to risk your money, deal with the stress, and have an unpleasant experience, I’d strongly advise booking a room at Hotel Brigita through Booking.com.
