The breakfasts were a highlight, with a table full of homemade food and local treats, and a different spread each morning. We also loved the private terrace, especially with the autumn leaves turning gold around us. Our two nights were peaceful and we slept well in the quiet town. If you're staying at Hotel Roja, I'd really recommend lunch or dinner at "Otra puse". The water heater took a while to warm up, though once the water was hot, it stayed that way. We'd likely come back in summer.

Forty minutes passed with no update about our food, so I finally asked the waiter if everything was all right with the order. He said we weren't the only people there and that if we didn't want to wait, we could leave. Disgusting experience. Minus 10!

The beach and breakfast were both five stars, and the place itself is very nice. But I had the most expensive room, and the service was terrible. Nobody cleaned it for two days, then the shower stopped working after three days. The owner wouldn't move me to another room or offer a discount, and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. If you expect the service you paid for, look for another hotel.

We'd been waiting 40 minutes when we asked about our order. The waiter was extremely rude and said we could leave if we didn't like waiting.
