We were happy with our little break from the big city. The house is comfortable despite being small, and had everything we needed for a family holiday. Our son especially loved playing outside, and it’s kid friendly. We also enjoyed the calm, the fresh air, and the lovely surroundings. We’d known about the place, but hadn’t realized it could be rented; once we found out, we decided within minutes.

There are lovely walking trails nearby, and the guest house made a perfect base for enjoying Gauja National Park. A little shop close by sells basic groceries and locally made Cremon fruit wine. Take the cable car into town at least once for the valley views. Such a beautiful place for some peace and relaxation.
