Set at the edge of the forest, this is a beautiful, very clean place about 1.5 km from the center of Smiltene. There’s a cafe, a sauna with a pond, and comfortable rooms.

We had a great time celebrating a bachelorette party here, and the beds were much more comfortable than at other guesthouses. The surroundings are clean, tidy, and pleasant, with a grill and sauna available for events too. Thanks for such a nice place to relax. I’d recommend it to friends and hope to come back someday 🙂

I decided against staying here after a problem with the price I booked on Booking.com. They later told me it would cost twice as much. When I called, they spoke to me rudely and said I could pay or cancel, but cancellation would mean paying half. They blamed Booking.com and wouldn’t cancel. After ending the call abruptly, they didn’t answer again. Booking.com took nearly a day to get a response from them. I don’t want to stay somewhere that treats a guest rudely when the problem was on their side.

The hosts are kind, and it’s a very good place to relax. The rooms felt a bit uncomfortable, though. For that price, I’d have liked something more modern, so I’m giving four stars.

The garden is wonderful, and the place is very beautiful. The house also has the things you need to relax, including dishes and a large refrigerator.
