Set in gorgeous Latvian countryside, this estate is a lovely way to get away from busy city life. The lodgings are comfortable and the property is beautiful. Phone signal can be hard to get, and the WiFi isn’t always dependable, but that’s part of its charm.

I haven't stayed in the rooms, but I've been to the place and houses. It's great for business parties, sports events or wedding after-parties, and disc golf is the best. Dogs are welcome, you can play music as loud as you like, and there’s space to make a barbecue fire, with safety first. You can also swim in natural water.

The hosts are nice and welcoming, and this quiet, country-style place suits family breaks, couples, retreats, group stays, corporate events, sports events and training camps. There are four separate holiday houses, each with space for 10 or more people. Activities include basketball, football, beach volleyball, swimming and Nordic walking. There’s also a scenic fishing pond with an island and a separate sauna beside it. Recommended!

We booked the little house on the hill. It was warm, clean and so cosy, and the whole place looked like a winter wonderland 🙂 I’d definitely come back. The sauna is a must-try 😉

The old-fashioned buildings have loads of charm, and the scenery is wonderful. There’s a nice sauna and a pond too. Mobile coverage is limited, which makes it easy to switch off and relax.
