We had lunch at Lauču Akmens, and the view of the sea from our table was fantastic. The food was so fresh and much tastier than I expected. Different ingredients came together in a way that made the meal unforgettable. Best experience I’ve had this summer.

Not sure how the food tastes, since we never got to try it. We spent an unforgettable hour waiting for the waiter. We even called him over; he nodded, then 20 minutes passed and we gave up and went home. A pretty unexpected experience for a place rated 4.4.

The food was tasty, but my potato was still cold 😅. Portions were small, and we waited about 40 minutes. If you’re really hungry, go to Sidrabiņi.

It was bitterly cold outside, but inside the rooms were wonderful, warm, homey and had everything we needed. We loved the design throughout the place, with every little detail feeling made for it. We’d ordered dinner in advance and it suited us, especially the extra desserts, which were marvelous. The staff were fun to chat with and we had a good laugh together. We checked in on a Friday evening and were the only three guests there, and again the only ones being served at breakfast the next morning. Breakfast was still very much okay. We really loved our stay and hope to come back someday ❤️

The room was really nice and spacious, with glasses, cups, cutlery and dishes inside. We enjoyed the beach area and one of the most beautiful views of the sky and the Milky Way. Room prices seemed okay, and there’s a restaurant on site. We arrived a little over an hour later than planned, but they waited for us, and check-in went smoothly. We spent an hour hunting mosquitoes because a window was open and didn’t have a screen or other protection. Please find a solution for the mosquitoes! Breakfast might be a bit expensive.
