A lovely place in a lovely city :) Seems like a good choice for a holiday with kids.

A quiet location for a bit of rest, though the place was dirty.

It was a nightmare. The blankets and pillows looked as if they’d been picked up from the street, and everything smelled of damp and cat urine. So much was broken and seemed not to have been repaired in 300 years. They’d even screwed a piece of metal threshold over a hole in the linoleum floor. 😫🤦 The sanitation is awful. How can a place like this offer rooms, especially through booking.com? Shame on the owner for thinking this is an acceptable environment. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎🦠💩🤬😡🤦🐷

There were five of us in a room in Palepej. We had bedding, though the pillows weren’t proper ones. There was a TV, water, a toilet and internet. The kitchen was small and shared with people living in the house, and the lounge was shared too.

Very unhygienic, unfortunately. The blankets, pillows and shower cabin were unusable, and there was a smell of age and mold. It could all be cleaned and replaced, though. Good luck with that 👍
