It’s clean and very cheap. If all you need is somewhere to sleep, it’s worth the stay.

Really good value, and the house was spotless. The hosts were so kind and helpful, and even sorted out a problem for us. A full 10/10, would recommend it 100%.

The beach is superb, even better than Jurmala. You can sunbathe among the dunes, and the sand is clean with hardly anyone around. Why does everyone head to Jurmala? You can have a great holiday here. I loved it all. Ventspils is a port city and felt quiet, with few people. I wondered if everyone had gone to Europe and whether there was much work. I visited in 1977 and 1983, and now I remember those trips fondly. Everything is clean, and the grass is trimmed.
