I’m Dr Hana from England, with British and Libyan nationalities, and I’ve stayed in many hotels in Libya. This was the worst experience of them all. I was in room 601 and paid 250 Libyan dinar per night, but the food was the worst I’ve ever seen, cheap and very low standard. It didn’t even meet basic international standards for a 4-star hotel. The buffet had no chicken dishes, just one beef dish, no fruit salad or omelettes, and only boiled and scrambled eggs that had no taste. The coffee was tasteless, there wasn’t much bread to choose from, and there were no brioche or pastries. When I complained, the chef had a bad attitude. The Manager Khalif, HR manger, was very rude and had no customer service skills. He was aggressive toward me and refused to refund my money when I asked because I wasn’t happy with the service or food. The toilet is always leaking water, the carpet is too old, the furniture is from the 19th century, and the TV is small, old and ugly, with only 26 channels. The room was okay, but the bathroom was very uncomfortable, and the service was the worst part. Reception barely offered the minimum support. Drink prices are insane, and several times when I tried to get something from the coffee shop, it wasn’t available. I can hardly recommend this hotel.

Stayed for one night in the matrimonial room. The bed was good and the bathroom was clean, but the fridge was empty. Breakfast was just normal, so I’d say the place is relatively good.

Rooms are clean and the internet is generally good. The staff are friendly, though the manager isn’t. It’s a good hotel owned by the Imetiag family from Misurata, and a night costs about 140LYD, around 100 USD.
