Tagadirt Appart-Hotel

I really enjoyed my stay at Appart Hotel Tagadirt in Agadir. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and everyone made it feel welcoming and comfortable. Staff were friendly, attentive and ready to help. The restaurant, kitchen and reception teams all showed genuine hospitality and high standards. The food was excellent. The Moroccan dishes tasted delicious and authentic, and the burgers and pizzas were well prepared too. My thanks to the chef and his team. I also want to give special thanks to Younes from security, who was professional, respectful and helpful throughout, and Hichem the lifeguard, whose friendly manner and professionalism I appreciated. The reception staff were very professional and helpful as well. I'd gladly return and highly recommend the hotel. Sending great respect from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England. Tunisia ❤️ Morocco.

The receptionist was good, and I'm grateful for that, but the rooms were terrible. We tried two different rooms over two nights, and I wouldn't wish the experience on anyone. It was expensive and horrible. The rusty, dirty bathtub looked fit for a horror film, and we joked about an insect-killing session with a partner. The closet in our room was rusty and swollen all over, and the door wouldn't close. We paid for a room with a refrigerator, but the place was still a disgrace for the price. There was no refund. Leaving through Agoda was a complete disappointment. I was thirsty, and the photos can speak for themselves. We were too afraid of the filth to use the toilet for a day :D We changed hotels today. It was a very expensive experience for us. DON’T STAY THERE.

The room had no internet, TV or heating, and there wasn't decent soap or toilet paper. It was full of ants and other crawling insects, and the whole place is old. It's walkable to the main promenade and reasonably close to the beach, even though it doesn't directly face the water. I'd look at other options, even if they cost a little more or are farther from the sea. If this is the cheapest place and your budget is tight, you could choose it as long as you keep your expectations low.

The location was the one good thing. For the price, the room was so not worth it: dirty when I checked in, with hair everywhere, rust, broken furniture, and lights that didn't work. The view was of a pile of garbage. The towels were dirty and there was no soap, and the staff couldn't even be bothered to look at you when speaking to you.
