Golden Beach Appart'hotel

We asked for a room on the quieter side and got one. The room itself was fine, though the bathroom looked dated and the shower needed some work. The pool was clean, but the area around it could use repairs and the furniture should be replaced or updated. We ate there a couple of times; the pizza was nice, but it's not obvious that the restaurant is open during the day and evening, so they could advertise that better. Breakfast was dull, mostly bread and pastries with little else. The location is great for the beach, and the staff were lovely and friendly. Khodija at reception always greeted us with a smile and a hello, and we were warmly welcomed when we arrived. It's a reasonable hotel, but it needs some work.

The hotel itself is okay, and the reception staff were nice and helpful. The restaurant, though, was horrible. They wouldn't take our order because they were watching a football match and told us to come back after it ended. The service was terrible and very unprofessional. I can't recommend it.

We had a fun stay, and the employees were really friendly. The location wasn't that nice, though, and when we arrived there were stains on the floor and toilet seat.

The beach is just across the road, the pool was quiet, and the hotel was cleaned every day. My daughter and I enjoyed it enough to extend our stay from one week to two. The staff were friendly, and breakfast had plenty of choice and was excellent. One receptionist was cheeky to me a couple of times about breakfast not being included in my booking, and raised their voice while demanding I pay at the end of the week. I was happy to pay, but felt embarrassed by how it was handled. By the time I left, that staff member had become friendlier.
