Hyatt Place Taghazout Bay

This was our first trip to Agadir, Morocco. We stayed at the Hyatt Place T.Bay for five nights and two days through Easyjet holiday packages. The hotel staff gave excellent service and worked hard to make sure we had what we needed. There was entertainment every night, and the pool area worked well for adults and families with children. It was a lovely, relaxing and very safe area, with good security. The hotel is in a great location for relaxing, though a little far from Agadir city if you want to go out in the evening. The shuttle to the beach runs hourly from around 10 a.m. and the beach isn’t far. Walking there is nice, but we found it a long way. We once waited two hours for the return shuttle, which never came, or there was a communication mix-up. There was also a shuttle to the city around 10 a.m., with pickup at 7 p.m., just once a day, so remember where it collects you. Be careful with taxis around the city. We experienced charges of 5 euros to the markets, while local orange taxis inside the city charged 1 to 2 euros. A taxi waiting at the city shuttle stop charged our group of eight 5 euros per person, even though the markets were close and he knew it. I’d take a local taxi to your destination. In our experience, some drivers weren’t honest about fares and took advantage of tourists.

Our first holiday in Morocco as a young family was a great experience at the Hyatt Place. The staff were incredibly friendly to all of us, especially our four-month-old daughter. We’d definitely recommend the hotel and hope to come back.

This was our favourite hotel of the Morocco road trip, and we’ll be back. The staff in reception and the restaurant were fantastic, and the rooms were beautiful with very good beds. Breakfast was a great buffet served outside, and the heated pool was perfect for the colder January days. Dinner at the buffet was the best too. Highly recommended.

The setting was beautiful and calm, with a welcoming feel, a relaxing atmosphere, and soft music that made the visit even nicer. We had a wonderful time at Hyatt Palace Taghazout Bay. A big thank you to Youssef Badawi, our waiter. He looked after us from start to finish with care, professionalism, and kindness, and paid attention to the details. The service was warm and high-quality. We’d gladly return.
