I didn’t stay overnight, just stopped for tea and the view. It looks like a ruin outside, but the inside is really nice, and the staff are very friendly.

The building and its history are fascinating, with great views too. It’s an unusual spot, right among the date palms.

The terrace looks out over the Draa Valley, and breakfast was good. We stopped in Tamnougalt on our way to the desert, and it turned out to be a great choice. The hotel is right in the middle of the abandoned old town, which is fun to explore both during the day and at night. A man named Abdelilah is usually by the hotel door. He guided us for a couple of hours and showed us the kasbah des caids, the jewish quarter and the gardens. We recommend him too. Souliman, one of the hotel hosts, looked after us well and was always ready to help make our stay better. The wifi worked perfectly, even while I worked there for a couple of hours. We definitely recommend the hotel and this little village.

We spent one night and enjoyed every minute. The staff were so welcoming and kind, and the views over the Draa river and all the palm trees are wonderful. Would definitely recommend!

The hosts were friendly, and the place has lovely views, but one of the beds in room 4 had bed bugs. After one night, I had over 40 bites. We told them and hope they take care of it.
